What repository can I submit for a preview?

Accepted Answer

Submit an HTTPS GitHub URL in the shape https://github.com/owner/repository. For a user-submitted repository, you must confirm that you own it or have permission to submit it. We check public GitHub access and detectable license metadata. The curated demo is a separate path for exploring the experience; it does not change the permission boundary for your own intake. We do not access private repositories or grant legal authorization.

What does the repository analysis include?

The preview saves a bounded slice: README and license text, a directory projection, and supported package metadata from package.json, pyproject.toml, or setup.py. Byte and entry limits keep the analysis finite. Private or not-found repositories, missing, oversized, or malformed required sources, and unavailable upstream data can end in a non-success result with a retry path; a failed analysis is not presented as a completed preview.

What license and attribution information will I see?

When GitHub exposes it, the preview shows the detected license name, SPDX identifier, source URL, and stored license text. Attribution and notice duties still require you to review that license and its project context. Public access or your ownership/permission attestation is not legal permission, and the preview does not classify your obligations for you.

How is a generated concept made?

A successful analysis can produce a deterministic concept from saved README sections together with repository and package metadata. It is a bounded interpretation of the available project context, not a guarantee of a ready concept. Failed or incomplete analyses do not promise generated concept sections.

Question 5

What is saved for signed-in and anonymous visitors?

Accepted Answer

An anonymous intake remains a public project preview and does not create a saved dashboard record for you. When you are signed in, the intake can link the project to your account, and your owner-scoped saved projects are available in the protected /dashboard/projects workspace. The preview itself remains public; the saved-project list is account-scoped.

What are the free and paid options?

The free $0 Repository preview tier gives you the bounded preview described here. The $5/month Concept supporter tier supports the next layer of permission-aware concept work. These are the current paths shown on the pricing page; paid checkout is not enabled yet, so the supporter path does not promise an active purchase flow or capabilities beyond the published copy.
